Well, the weekend is over (insert sad face here) and it is time to get back into reality. But before we do, let’s see what you worked on this weekend. I am in the process of moving from Upstate New York, to New York City, so I was only able to get a few rows of my Altostratus Shawl by Alla Saenko finished. It’s an asymmetrical triangular shawl with a lace border. I was hoping to have this finished this week, however my oldest daughter informed me yesterday (Sunday) that she needs a hat for crazy hat day on Tuesday, yes tomorrow Tuesday. So I obviously put my project on hold and I am working on a cookie monster hat by Hopeful Honey. I am just adjusting the beanie size to fit a teenage girl.
How many times have you stopped your project to create something for your loved ones out of excitement that they have asked for a handmade item?
This girl definitely has, more than once. But as long as the person is “knitworthy” I don’t see a problem. Let me know in the comments below!!
